Diocese of St. George’s-in-Grenada, October 14, 2023: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fr. Mark Haynes, who served the Diocese of St. George’s-in-Grenada for 40 years. (3 weeks short of 40 Years) He served as both parish priest, of various parishes, and Diocesan Youth Co-coordinator.

Fr. Mark died peacefully this afternoon at St. Martin’s Home for the Aged, Crochu, St. Andrew, Grenada, where he was a resident for the past 6 years.

His Lordship, Bishop Clyde Harvey and the entire Diocese of St. George’s-in-Grenada extend condolences to the family and friends of Fr. Mark, including his nephew, Fr. Carl Haynes, Vicar General of the Diocese.

Eternal rest grant unto Him O Lord.
